bonjour, je m’appelle charlie

Actually, my name is Nina Charlie but if you want to call me just Charlie that’s fine with me. So, I’m a 16 year old girl who has lots of imagination and ideas but not enough time on her hands. I live in a semi-boring city in Canada where the temperature during winter goes below -30˚C degrees. I feel like nothing interesting ever happens here, or maybe just nothing interesting happens to me.

I have a year and a half of high school left, then I’m off to college to study English, Literature and Arts and after that I’m going to NYU to pursue a career in journalism. But, before I go to University, I’d like to travel around the world and collect “I LOVE insert city name here” t-shirts from every city I visit, and I plan on visiting a whole lot of them.

People who don’t know me would describe me as shy and quiet, but once you get to know me, I’m everything but that. I love fashion, photography, music, cats, charm bracelets, skinny boys with long hair who can play the electric guitar, collection fashion magazines and eating cookie dough ice cream. When I’ll be living in NYC, I’ll get an orange cat and name it Ron Weasley. I play piano and guitar, and I’m learning how to play the ukulele. Whenever I’m inspired I write songs about rebel girls, Paris and boys who can play the bass for my band, The Flower Petals. I love drawing (even though I’m really not that good) and creating collages with bits and pieces of my favorite things. Also, I enjoy writing a lot of “to do” lists, that I never end up doing.

When I turn 18 I plan on dying my hair pink and getting a treble clef tattoo on my wrist. I like singing along to songs I don’t know the lyrics too, and I enjoy watching foreign movies and try to understand what they’re saying.

Before starting college, I’d like to tour the US with my friends. If I wasn’t born a human, I strongly believe that I would have been a mermaid (it’s not because we can’t see them that they don’t exist!).

I love books and one day I shall get a library as big as in The Beauty and the Beast. I would love to travel around Europe someday and collect antique pieces and open up a shop in New York.

And anything related to The Strokes will make me extremely happy because I love their music that much.
